Finance Office

Kimberly Gehrke proudly serves as the Finance Director for the City of Fruitland Park, where she works alongside the City Manager to ensure the City's finances are managed responsibly, transparently, and with a focus on the community's future. With extensive experience for over 25 years in municipal and county government, nonprofit organizations, public accounting, and private industry, she is dedicated to sound financial stewardship and exceptional public service.

Kimberly oversees the City's financial operations, including budget development, financial reporting, capital improvement financing, utility financial management, investments, grants, and regulatory compliance. She works closely with City leadership to support Fruitland Park's long-term financial stability.

She holds a Master of Organizational Leadership and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting, Finance, and Human Resources Management from Lourdes University. Kimberly is also pursuing her Ph.D. and Florida Government Finance Officers Association Certified Finance Officer accreditation, reflecting her commitment to lifelong learning and continuous improvement.
