Any person failing to obtain any of the below listed building permits, if required or if necessitated by the project, prior to commencement of construction shall be charged double the charge shown below for each required permit which the person failed to timely obtain.

Impact Fee Calculations

Due to the complexity of the calculations and the significance of the impact fees, staff is unable to provide an estimate of impact fees prior to permit submittal. Some other important information to note:

The Lake County impact fee for Fruitland Park applies to the North and Central Districts.
The water connection fee varies based on the size of the meter along with the counted ERU units within the building.
For sewer connections, additional fees apply when connecting to the sewer system along with the counted ERU units withing the building
The Lake County Fire Assessment Rates are based on the fee set at the time the permit is issued for that month.
