Fruitland Park Youth Flag Football teaches passing, catching, teamwork, and game strategy in a non-contact environment. Flag football provides an exciting opportunity for athletes to learn football fundamentals while emphasizing safety and sportsmanship.

Fruitland Park Youth Flag Football introduces players to football fundamentals in a recreational, non-contact environment. Participants develop passing, catching, game strategy, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Registration Fee: $70 per player
Registration Opens: September 16, 2026
Registration Deadline: November 5, 2026

Important Dates

All season dates are tentative and may be adjusted because of weather, field conditions, or rainouts.

Draft for Ages 9–15: November 17, 2026
First Practice: December 1, 2026
Anticipated Final Game: February 11, 2027

The November 17 draft is only for registered players ages 9–15. Younger players do not need to attend. Additional instructions will be provided directly to participating families.

Equipment Information

Players must provide:

• Mouthguard
• Football or soccer cleats with no metal cleats

The City provides:

• NFL-branded team jersey
• NFL-branded flag belt

Volunteer coaches are needed each season.
