Children Programming

The Fruitland Park Library offers a variety of engaging programs designed to foster a lifelong love of reading, learning, and discovery. From Storytimes and crafts to STEM activities, homeschool programs, and Summer Reading, our children's programs use books as the foundation for creativity, imagination, and education. Whether your child is just beginning their reading journey or exploring new interests, the library provides opportunities to learn, grow, and have fun through the power of stories.

    Robotics Club 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM

    Get ready to code, create, and explore at the Fruitland Park Library! Join us for our Coding Club featuring Ozobots and hands-on robotics fun for kids and teens of all skill levels.

    Ages 5–10 can learn the basics of coding through simple color-code commands that make Ozobots move, spin, race, and more — a fun and easy introduction to programming!

    Ages 11–18 will have the opportunity to design, build, and program robots while exploring mechanical design concepts like gears, structures, and movement. As skills grow, participants can take on more advanced coding and creative design challenges.

    Whether you’re brand new to coding or ready to build something amazing, there’s something for everyone!

    Join us every Wednesday from 10:30–11:30 AM for a fun and engaging story time designed for little ones ages 0–5

    Stories – Enjoy fun books that encourage imagination and a love of reading.
    Music & Movement – Sing, dance, and wiggle along with us!
    Crafts – Create a simple craft to take home.
    Learn & Play – Meet new friends and enjoy a welcoming library environment.
