Cheerleading
Fruitland Park Youth Cheerleading gives participants an opportunity to learn cheers, motions, jumps, teamwork, and sportsmanship while supporting the City’s Youth Flag Football teams.
Registration Information
Registration Fee: $70 per cheerleader
Registration Opens: September 16, 2026
Registration Deadline: November 4, 2026
Important Dates
All season dates are tentative and may be adjusted because of weather, field conditions, rainouts, or changes to the Youth Flag Football schedule.
Uniform Measurement Meeting: November 10, 2026
- Junior Varsity: 6:00 PM
- Varsity: 7:00 PM
First Practice: November 12, 2026
Anticipated Final Game: January 13, 2027
Attendance at the uniform measurement meeting is important to ensure each cheerleader receives the correct uniform size.
Uniform and Equipment Information
Cheerleaders must provide:
- Large blue hair bow
- All-white, closed-toe tennis shoes
- White leggings
- White bloomers to wear under uniform shorts
The City provides:
- Cheer uniform
- Pom-poms
Pom-poms remain the property of the City of Fruitland Park. They will be distributed for games and must be returned to the City after each game.
