Social Security Call Scam:
February 25, 2019
We want to advise our citizens that our local area has recently been receiving phone calls from a 707 area code. The calls include an automated message claiming to be from the Social Security Administration. The message states that your social security number has been suspended. Please disregard this message and do not respond. The last call that we are aware of was received on February 25, 2019. Our agency has notified the Social Security Administration of this possible scam call.
