The Fruitland Park Library offers this adult program bimonthly for anyone interested in having meaningful discussions about the world around us.
Library Book Club
Looking for a fun way to meet people who share your love for reading? Join our Book Club! The Fruitland Park Library Book Club meets every third Monday of the month from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. to discuss and share opinions on the book of the month.
Mahjong Club
Want to learn a new hobby? Play Mahjong! Mahjong is a game played with domino-like tiles from China that requires strategy and a little luck. Beginners and long-time Mahjong lovers alike are invited to play every Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous
Having trouble controlling the way you eat? Are you overweight? Underweight? Obsessed with food, weight, or dieting? You are not alone. Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous meets weekly on Thursdays from 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and is a community of people who come together for support and encouragement as they work to recover from food addiction.
Knitting With Myla
Crocheting, sewing, and embroidery, oh my! Whatever your stitch is come create with us. Weekly on Tuesdays the Fruitland Park Library hosts Knitting With Myla at 1 p.m. This is an opportunity to learn a new hobby or work on projects with friends. All skill levels are welcome but participants must bring their own materials.
Hearts and Crafts
Craft for a cause second Thursdays of the month from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. with the Crafting Club! Crafters of all kind and skill levels are invited to serve our community and have fun while they're at it with this monthly program.
Reading Between the Wines Book Club
Enjoy a glass of wine while discussing the book of the month every second Wednesday of the month from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Participants must be 21 years old or older to attend.
Bridge Club
Looking to play cards and make new friends? Come to the Fruitland Park Library's Social Bridge Club! Every first Monday of the month from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. seasoned pros and beginners alike are invited to play this classic card game.
