Police
We serve, because we care about our community. We serve, by improving the quality of life, promoting peace and order and resolving problems through an ongoing working relationship with our community.
Our personnel consist of dedicated men and women who believe in the community policing philosophy. Our agency has a Uniform Patrol Division, Criminal Investigations Division, Professional Standards Division, Reserve Officer Unit, Canine Unit, Police Bicycle Unit and a Records Section. The Department also has an active Citizens on Patrol and Civilian Volunteer Program to enhance our service.
Our Department is always ready to fight crime and/or the fear of crime, by working with our partners to enforce the laws, apprehend offenders, all while preventing crime from occurring in the first place. Our efforts along with our residents will improve the quality of life for all Fruitland Park Citizens and those who visit our city.
