Community Redevelopment Agency Grant Façade Improvement Program
The 2020 Business Beautification Grant is Open for Applications
The City of Fruitland Park would like to invite you to apply for the 2020 CRA matching grant façade improvement program. This CRA grant program is designed to, through a competitive application process, award business owners such as yourself with a matching grant of up to $2,500.00 for the purpose of improving the curb appeal of your business.
To be eligible business owners must meet the following criteria:
Must be located in a designated CRA.
Must be properly zoned.
Must be a small business as defined by the United States Small Business Association.
Must be a business or property owner in good standing (possess a current business tax receipt and property taxes without fines, liens etc.).
Applicant must share fifty percent (50%) of the cost.
The business owner and property owner (if different) must apply jointly.
Must include a copy of current lease if not the property owner
Improvement will require CRA Board approval.
City Commissioners, staff members, employees and all those listed under Chapter 112 of the Florida Statutes are not eligible to participate in this program.
Home occupations are not eligible for funding.
A complete description of the program and applications are available at Fruitland Park City Hall at the offices of the city manager or community development department located at 506 W. Berckman Street, Fruitland Park, Florida 34731. Note: applications are due no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 29, 2020 and will not be accepted after that date.
Successful grantees must have all work completed no later than September 1, 2020.
All receipts MUST be submitted no later than 4:00 p.m. Friday, September 11, 2020.
