Full Time / Reserve Police Officer

Duties: All duties associated with the Police Department including, but not limited to: Traffic, Patrol, Investigations, and Public Service. Assigned work may involve an element of personal danger. Requirements include the ability to act without direct supervision and exercise independent judgment in handling emergencies. Must have public relations skills, Law Enforcement certifications, Proficiency in the use of impact weapons and firearms, and computer skills connected to police work. Physical requirements are those related to police work that include, but are not limited to, walking and standing for long periods of time, running, lifting, wrestling and retaining suspects and handling stressful situations.
Hours: Various hours at a rate of $18.27 per hour
Requirements: Must have completed the law enforcement officers’ training program and be certified by the Commission on Criminal Justice Standards and Training.
