What can I do or who do I call in an emergency?
Please provide the following information when you call in an emergency: name, address or location and telephone number.
Life-threatening emergencies, police and/or fire call 911;
Non-emergency assistance

- public works, flooding or storm-related issues (after hours on call) (352) 504-1205;
- dispatch at the Lake County Sheriff's Office (352) 343-2101 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. select option #4 and after 5:00 p.m. select option #3 and a Fruitland Park law enforcement, fire rescue personnel, or a public works on-call employee for water or sewer will be dispatched to your location, or

Power outage or electrical emergency issue, please contact The City of Leesburg's Electric Department by:
- visiting the Joe T. Municipal Operations Center, 2010 Griffin Road, Leesburg, Florida 34749 between the hours of 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday to Friday;

After a Hurricane and before removing falling trees, call for a free utility location by dialing 8-1-1. Also call 8-1-1 or 800 432-4770 before you dig. If flooding occurs, call a qualified appliance contractor for a safety inspection.
