Our Love Run is a family friendly 5K presented by The City of Fruitland Park. The Love Run 5K is in collaboration with LOVE WEEK. Each year, a week is set aside to promote generosity thru communities, businesses, schools, churches, and other organizations.
This year, proceeds from the 5k will benefit the local organization New Beginnings Refuge. To learn about New Beginnings Refuge, please see below the race information.

Late Registration: $40
Registration from TBA is $40.
Runner’s shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after TBA, including day-of registration.
There will be a FREE Kids fun run after the 5k race sponsored by Citizens First Bank.

New Beginnings Refuge is a faith-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring hope and stability to homeless families within our community.
New Beginnings Refuge exists to empower homeless families by providing compassionate support, essential resources, and pathways toward self-sufficiency. We believe every family deserves safety, dignity, and the opportunity to rebuild their lives. Our mission is grounded in service, respect, and a commitment to helping families move from crisis toward stability.
Our goals focus on addressing both immediate needs and long-term solutions for families experiencing homelessness. In the short term, New Beginnings Refuge works to connect families with food, clothing, temporary shelter resources, and supportive services that promote stability and independence. We also emphasize advocacy, guidance, and collaboration with community partners to ensure families receive holistic support.
Looking ahead, one of our long-term goals is to acquire land to develop small housing for homeless families. This vision is centered on creating safe, stable living environments where families can regain independence and establish a foundation for long-term success. Through intentional planning and community engagement, we seek to provide opportunities that foster lasting change and renewed hope.
