The Water Utility Department is operated by the City of Fruitland Park for the safety and convenience of its citizens.
Utility billing, which includes solid waste collection and disposal, is mailed by the last working day of the month. Payment is due by the 10th the following month. Past due accounts will be assessed a penalty. Accounts left unpaid past the 20th of the month are disconnected. There is a fee for reconnection.
Watering Restrictions: The St. Johns River Water management District have imposed water usage restriction on residents.
Landscape watering is limited to Wednesdays and Saturdays for
odd numbered addresses. Thursdays and Sundays for
even numbered addresses.
Watering is limited to the hours before 10 a.m. and after 4 p.m. Light irrigation is allowed provided handheld hose is fitted with automatic shut-off device.
New landscapes can be irrigated on any day between 4 p.m. and 10 a.m. during the first 30 days following installation. Car washing must be done using a hand held hose equipped with an automatic shut-off nozzle.
