The Fruitland Park Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance of buildings, parks, streets, public lands within the City and the water utility system.

Under supervision of the public works director the public works employees maintain the softball and baseball complex and the other recreational areas, general maintenance and grounds maintenance of all city facilities, repair of streets and upkeep of right of ways and the repair  and maintenance of the water distribution system and compliance with governmental agencies.

The public works director reports to the city manager.
