The library is located at 205 W. Berckman Street.
There are fourteen computers available for use by the patrons. Anyone may use these computers, whether they have a library card or not. There are time limitations on usage.

The library is now a wi-fi hotspot, which means that one can use his/her wireless computer inside or just outside the library.

The 35,000+ items in the library consist of books, magazines, dvds, videos, audio books, and music CDs. All are available for check-out.

As a member of the Lake County Library System materials located countywide can be located, reserved and delivered to our library for your convenience or mailed to your door.

Friends of the Library is a dynamic group of individuals who meet on the second Monday of the month (September-May) at 2:00 p.m. at the library. This group raises much needed funds to augment both childrens and adults educational and cultural programs. The Friends have also purchased new book displays for the children, teen and adult areas. Call the library for more information about joining this group.

ONGOING LIBRARY PROGRAMS:

ADULTS: BOOK CLUB

Book Club for adults meets on the 3rd Monday of each month at 10:00 a.m. Call the library for the current book selection.

ADULT COMPUTER LESSONS
Individual computer classes are available by appointment on Thursday and Friday mornings. These are basic beginner type lessons. Call the library to schedule an appointment.

FAMILY LITERACY PROGRAM FOR ADULTS:
This free program matches trained tutors with adult students. These classes are scheduled at mutually convenient dates for teacher and student.


CHILDREN’S PROGRAMS:

STORYTIME

Every Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. children and their parents/caregivers are invited to sing songs, hear stories and make a simple craft. This program is geared to children ages 0-4 years.

FRUITLAND PARK KID’S CLUB
This program meets on the third Monday of the month at 3:30 p.m. from September through May. Children in grades kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to booktalks, and make seasonal crafts. Call Ms. Julie for more information and to register.

SATURDAY MORNING KRAFTY KIDS PROGRAM
This program meets once a month on Saturday mornings at 11:00 a.m. Children in grades kindergarten through fifth grade are invited to make a seasonal craft. Registration is necessary for this program.
