The City is governed by a Commission consisting of five members, each elected at large for five year terms.
The duties of the Commission are to set policy, laws, budget, and zoning. The mayor acts as chairmen. Management of the City's business is overseen by a City Manager who is employed by the Commission. They also employ the City Clerk, City Treasurer, and City Attorney.
The Commission meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month, at 7:00 PM, in City Hall. Meetings are open to the public.
