Fruitland Park Day
March 30 - 31, 2012
Fruitland Park Day was originally held to honor Armed Forces Day and has evolved into a celebration of who we are as a community.
The fun begins Friday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
with a Street Dance featuring the live band Overdue Bill and the Collectors.
There will be food vendors and free admission into the bounce houses for the kids!
On Saturday, the day begins with a 5K Run and a 5K walk at 8a.m. and a Free "Kids 14 & Under" one mile fun run starting at 9:00 a.m.
Cost of race is $15 for those who pre-register before March 21. Cost is $20 after the deadline.
The Fruitland Park Library will hold its annual book sale in
the Casino Building on Friday, April 1 from 5 to 7 pm and
on Saturday, April 2 from 9am to 1 pm
Our annual parade begins at 10:00 a.m. with Parade Announcer, DJ Jimi.
A variety of music and entertainment will be on hand all day
Cutest Kid's Contest at Noon.
Girls 0 to 12 yrs old and Boys 0 to 8 yrs old.
Registration forms can be picked up at the Recreation Office, at City Hall, at the Fruitland Park library, or by calling
Serita Morgan -contest director at 350-6395.
Other activities will include a variety of arts & crafts, jewelry & purses, food vendors, civic organizations and promotional booths,
a skeeball machine, and more.
