FRUITLAND PARK DAY


Fruitland Park Day was originally held to honor Armed Forces Day and has evolved into a celebration of who we are as a community.

The fun begins Friday evening from 7:00 p.m to 10:00 p.m.
with a Street Dance featuring The Caribbean Chillers,
A Jimmy Buffet Tribute Band.

Our Annual Classic and Custom Car and Truck show, with trophies and door prizes.
With an array of food, craft and organizational vendors.

On Saturday, the day begins with a 5K Run, a 5K Walk and a One mile fun run starting at 8:00 a.m. The Race is sponsored by Thermo Cool, Colonial Bank, Central Florida Health Alliance, Page-Theus Funeral Home, The Daily Commercial and The Central Florida Woman's Club

The Blood Mobile will be here from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
All donors will receive Club Red enrollment, a free tee shirt and a free admission coupon to the Lake County Fair.

The Fruitland Park Library will hold it's annual book sale in the Casino on Saturday, April 12 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Our annual parade begins at 10:00 a.m. with Parade Announcer, DJ Jimi A variety of music and entertainment will be on hand the entire day with performances by
Overdue Bill and the Collectors
Rob Nichols, Country Music Singer
Unicyclist & Juggler, Wade Henry
Talako Indian Dancers
Central Florida Karate Demonstration
Mike Carnevale, Magician
Nicolas, The Living Statue

Other activities will include a variety of arts and crafts and food vendors, civic organizations and promotional booths,
a rock climbing wall, inflatable obstacles and more.

Hometown Christmas


This event is a community celebration of the joyous season.
A local dance studio will present a costumed
Christmas performance.
Leesburg High School's Jazz Band will get you in the Spirit with a medley of Holiday music.
Fruitland Park Elementary School presents a chorus concert.
A community singing group presents a concert of selections
for the season.

We are surrounded by lighted evergreens and warmed by a bon fire for this event.The highlight of the evening for the youngsters is the arrival of Santa Clause who greets each child individually and listens to their Christmas wishes.

Bring your family and join us in front of City Hall
on Berckman Street at 7:00 pm
for the celebration of Hometown Christmas.

Hometown Christmas Lighting Contest Light up you home or business! 1st - 2nd - 3rd place resident winners.
