The Office of the City Treasurer is a multifunctional office, demanding a highly skilled person who handles all financial matters of the City.

All City funds are accounted through this office. The Treasurer also is the risks manager, oversees the Utility billing and receipts, payroll, invoices and purchase requisitions.

The Treasurer also verifies tax rolls of the City and coordinates the collection of all taxes with the proper authority.

Financial records are organized and prepared by the Treasurer for annual audit by a Certified Public Accountant. These records are always public documents.

Funds of the City are invested by the Treasurer for the best advantage of the Citizens.
